Washington, DC – Committee on House Administration Ranking Member Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) last night discussed the recent launch of the Faith in Elections Project and Speaker Pelosi denying Republicans a voice on the 1/6 Select Committee.

Davis was also joined by Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) whose district Davis visited last week to talk about election integrity issues with local election administrators as part of the Faith in Elections Project.

"We need to get some answers and regardless of the situation that we would have been in on that committee, and it would have been a partisan sham, but we would have gotten our message across, if they wouldn't have done the unprecedented thing and tried to remove Jim Jordan and Jim Banks..."

Our Constitution, Sean and Lyndsay, guarantees that we ought to give our authority to run elections at the state and local level, and frankly, it becomes just a travesty when we see bills like H.R. 1, that will devastate the processes that New York has in place. I wasn't aware until I went to New York the entire election process in every single county in New York is bipartisan. You have bipartisan election commissioners. We don't have that in Illinois. But that's okay because that's what those states feel works best...

"And I was so proud to sit with Claudia, and her elected officials, and election administrators, and talk about what they're doing right, what they're doing right in those communities to make sure that everybody who wants to cast a vote gets a chance to do that, and they limit the amount of opportunities to commit fraud. Proud of what Claudia's done. They're proud of her leading that Election Integrity Caucus and I was proud to be in her district just last week."
