WASHINGTON – Today, the Committee on House Administration’s Ranking Republican Vernon Ehlers, R-Mich., issued the following statement in response to the Senate’s confirmation of the Committee on House Administration’s Director of Legislative Operations and Counsel, Gineen Bresso Beach, to the Election Assistance Commission (EAC):

“I am extremely pleased with the Senate’s confirmation of Gineen Beach to serve on the Election Assistance Commission. Throughout her tenure with the Committee, Gineen thoroughly has demonstrated her vast knowledge of federal election law and has worked tirelessly to preserve the integrity of our federal elections. I am confident that her skills and experience will make her an exceptional commissioner.”

Prior to working with the Committee on House Administration, Mrs. Beach served as a policy advisor and legislative officer to Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr., where she focused on election law. Beach received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts and her J.D. from the Western New England College School of Law.
