The U.S. Capitol Visitor Center - Ten Years of Serving Congress and the American People

Previewing the hearing on the CVC, Chairman Harper said: “The CVC welcomed its 20 millionth visitor in December of 2017, and at the end of this year, the CVC will mark its 10th anniversary since the facility opened to the public. During this hearing, the Committee will receive an update on the progress of the CVC’s operations to manage the needs and safety of visitors, Members, and staff, and to receive an update on plans to continue that success over the next 10 years of service.”
