H.R. 7321 - Electronic Filing of Electioneering Communication Reports Act - passed by voice. 

  • Sponsored by Chairman Bryan Steil (WI-01) and Ranking Member Joe Morelle (NY-25),  this bill amends the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to modernize certain reporting requirements for electioneering communications to improve transparency for the public.


H.R. 7319 - End Zuckerbucks Act of 2024 - reported out by a vote of 6-3.

  • Sponsored by Rep. Claudia Tenney (NY-24) and Rep. Tom Cole (OK-04), this bill amends the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to prohibit 501(c)(3) organizations from providing direct funding to official election organizations and to amend the Help America Vote Act of 2002 to prohibit the District of Columbia from receiving or using funds or certain donations from private entities for the administration of a District of Columbia election, and for other purposes.


H.R. 4486 - Hiring Preference for Veterans and Americans with Disabilities Act - passed by voice. 

  • Sponsored by Rep. Mike Garcia (CA-27), this bill clarifies that a State or local jurisdiction may give preference to individuals who are veterans or individuals with a disability with respect to hiring election workers to administer an election in the State or local jurisdiction, and for other purposes.
