Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Congressional Workplace
Previewing the hearing, Chairman Harper said: “The Committee will hold a hearing as part of our extensive review of the resources available to assist our Members and staff in regard to sexual harassment awareness and reporting. This is an important issue and the House of Representatives is committed to preventing any form of harassment. We need to make certain that the House provides the needed sexual harassment awareness training, as well as policies that support a person’s right to report. I thank Speaker Ryan for tasking our Committee with this important review and I look forward to working with everyone to ensure that our Capitol Hill community is a safe and productive work environment.”
