Committee on House Administration Republicans have invited one of the author's of the 2017 Government Accountability Office (GAO) report on reforming the Capitol Police Board to testify before the committee. Gretta Goodwin, Director of Justice and Law Enforcement Issues at GAO, will testify during tomorrow's security-related hearing at 2:00PM EST.

The 2017 GAO report found that the board has an unusual amount of power compared to other police boards and made several recommendations to improve the functionality of the board and increase transparency and accountability.
