WASHINGTON —Chairman Vernon J. Ehlers, R-Mich., announced today that the Committee on House Administration will conduct a hearing to review the House IT Assessment, an ongoing study on the use of technology in the House of Representatives. Gartner Consulting and the Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) conducted the IT Assessment for the purpose of developing a ten-year strategic vision and road map for the future use of technology in the House. The hearing will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2006, in room 1310 of the Longworth House Office Building.
