WASHINGTON - Today, Committee on House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil (WI-01) and Chief Administrative Officer Catherine Szpindor opened the new Agency Connection Center located in the Longworth House Office Building, the newest addition to the Longworth Main Street Project.
"For the first time, Legislative and Executive Branch Agency officials are located in a central location within the House to increase transparency and accountability," said Chairman Steil. "This center will provide staff and Members with access to real-time information, increasing their ability to efficiently respond to the American people’s casework inquiries and questions. I look forward to seeing this new space in action and I hope this leads the way for more agencies to join the Agency Connection Center."
"The CAO is proud to partner with Chairman Steil and the House Administrative Committee staff on this new Agency Connection Center,” said Chief Administrative Officer Catherine Szpindor. “Our mission at CAO is to provide the resources and information that House Members and staff need to serve the American people – and that’s exactly what this hub will help them to do. We look forward to hearing about the impact that this Center has here on the House campus and in districts across the country.”
Agencies include:
- Department of State
- Government Accountability Office
- Office of Personnel Management
- Social Security Administration

About the Longworth Main Street Project:
The Committee on House Administration, CAO, and AOC have been working to refresh the basement floor of Longworth to create a central hub for Members and staff with services available. In addition to better lighting, fresh paint, new murals, and renovated Member-facing institutional offices, the Committee on House Administration has been working to establish a central location for Members and staff to connect in-person with liaisons from the Legislative and Executive Branch.
