WASHINGTON - Today, Committee on House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil (WI-01) released the following statement in response to the New York Appellate Division's decision holding that noncitizen voting violates the New York Constitution.
"American elections are for American citizens. I'm pleased to see yesterday's decision that confirms noncitizens may not cast ballots in New York City. This is a big win for our election integrity efforts to bolster Americans' confidence in our elections."
