Ranking Member Davis Welcomes Member Elects to New Member Orientation for the 117th Congress
Washington, DC – Committee on House Administration Ranking Member Rodney Davis (IL-13) today welcomed member elects to New Member Orientation for the 117th Congress. Approximately, 68 member elects and candidates in uncalled races, 50 Republicans and 18 Democrats, are here for New Member Orientation.
Davis welcomed member elects, in part, saying, "Congratulations on your election and welcome to New Member Orientation for the 117th Congress. We as a country are facing extraordinary and unprecedented challenges. Now more than ever we need strong leaders who are willing to sacrifice and do what is right to preserve this great democracy. Each of us has been given the opportunity by our constituents to step up and be those leaders for our districts and for the country. And it starts right now. As Ranking Member of the Committee on House Administration, it is my job to ensure that you are equipped with the tools you need to be successful.
