WASHINGTON – Committee on House Administration Ranking Member Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) sends additional oversight letters to election administrators in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The letters outline a number of election administration problems ahead of November 3rd, including many of the security concerns with mail-in voting raised by a whistleblower in a recent New York Post article. The letters request information regarding the security and delivery of mail-in ballots, alleged voter coercion at nursing homes, and preventing the impersonation of voters.

"A recent whistleblower outlined how easily mail-in ballots can be tampered with and how elections in these states can be manipulated if the proper safeguards are not in place," said Davis. "I'm hoping by asking and getting answers to these important questions, we can alleviate some of the concerns many Americans have and ensure the integrity of our elections is protected. If left unanswered, reports like this will continue to chip away at the public's confidence in our elections and we can't afford that."

These oversight letters are in addition to earlier letters Davis sent to ten different localities across the country seeking information regarding issues reported in recent primaries and other election administration violations.
